Filmora is probably one of the most prolific software when it comes to updates. If you have been using it for years, you have likely seen update prompts once every two weeks or even every week. That is a good sign because the software is being constantly updated and improved, which makes the experience better.
Sometimes an update changes a lot of things and we have to change the way we interact with the software. Filmora 14 is one clear example. It is a bit different than version 13 in ways that affect daily use.
Previously, if you wanted to open the edit menu or edit keyframes, their location was familiar. In the new interface, those controls moved to a different spot. I think that is fine and probably done for a good reason, but some people are accustomed to the previous layout and do not want to change their workflow.

If you want to go back from Filmora 14 to 13, or later from 15 to 14, here is how to do it. There is no revert button in Filmora. You will not find any menu that says revert to the previous version.

Filmora Version Downgrade Steps
I have done this once, and it is the only way I have found to go back to a previous version. You have to uninstall the software first. After that, you can install the older build you want.
Step 1 Uninstall the current build
If you are on Windows, open Control Panel and uninstall Filmora 14 from your computer. Remove the current version completely. This clears the path for a clean install of the older build.

Step 2 Find the official older installer
Go to Google and search for download Filmora old version. Open the official Filmora page that lists previous versions. You will see options for Filmora 13, 12, and 11, and right now the latest is Filmora 14, but there is no Filmora 10 because it is too outdated.

Step 3 Install and sign in
Click the download button for the version you want and let it download the installer. Install it on your computer and sign in to your Wondershare account to authenticate your license. After that, you should be able to use Filmora 13 normally with the older interface.

Filmora Version Downgrade and Update Prompts
There is one caveat even if you install Filmora 13. You might still receive messages from Filmora telling you that you are using a previous version and prompting you to upgrade to the latest build. They will keep offering you the update because new features are being added.

If you want to stay on Filmora 13 or any specific version and you do not want to update, just ignore the message. Click cancel if any prompt asks you to upgrade. Always skip the upgrade prompts if you want to stay on the older version.

Final Thoughts
To recap, uninstall the current version, search for download Filmora old version, open the official page for previous builds, download the version you want, install it, and sign in. Use it normally, and when update prompts appear, ignore them to remain on that version. That is all you need to do to keep your workflow on the layout you prefer.
